From our early start in 1863 in Middletown, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, the Habbersett brand has been creating great-tasting scrapple using the highest quality ingredients. Founded by Isaac S. Habbersett and passed through many family generations, Habbersett has developed into an iconic Philadelphia tradition. Originally located in Media, Pennsylvania, our famous scrapple is now produced in Delaware.
With a staff of nearly 50 people, Habbersett Brand is the market leader for scrapple in the Philadelphia area. Our distribution center in Bridgeville, Delaware also distributes our products throughout the northeast region.

For more than 150 years, Habbersett has been making Philadelphia's favorite scrapple and other quality meat products. And while the packaging has changed, the great taste and commitment to quality will always remain the same.

 

Using high-quality ingredients and strictly adhering to food safety standards, we have maintained our heritage of providing distinctive quality scrapple, liverwurst, sausage and smoked meat products. That heritage continues today with our recent introduction of Habbersett fully cooked pork, turkey and NEW chicken sausage products. The products are gluten free and produced with no MSG, different than most all competitors. To support our commitment to food safety, the Habbersett facility has been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and is under continuous inspection by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
